In Vogue The Editors Eye. Rewiev.

 Hello my lovely readers.

When ever I buy a magazine, weekly or monthly, I always catch myself thinking - how do they do it? How they find time for everything? I'm more than sure that every one at least have had such a thought.

Today going trough many different fashion magazines I noticed some movies about fashion. The one who catched my eye the most was - In Vogue The Editors Eye. So this will be the story for tonight.

I'm the person who have loved fashion ever since I was little. I guess I can say thanks to my mum and my grandma. Both of them have always had full shelves with sewing magazines, patterns and fabric pieces. Both of them have always loved making clothes by themselfs.

So I guess this is one of the reasons why I have choosed to link my future with fashion. And after watching this movie about Vogue I have no doubts anymore.

Let's talk more about movie.

To commemorate Vogue’s 120th anniversary, In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye is a documentary which focuses on the many Fashion Editors that were and still are responsible for producing the powerful fashion narratives through images over the years. Incredibly stylish, and just as glossy as the magazine which initially began in 1894 as a social magazine focusing on the women of society, In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye provides a glimpse of the creative process in what is today considered the bible of fashion lovers all around the world. - See more at: http://www.capitalfm.com.my/lifestyle/30-quotes-from-in-vogue-the-editors-eye/#sthash.T9aeXF1I.dpuf

This movie is perfect for people who loves fashion, loves and are interested in journalism or simply wants to see the other side of the magazine making process.

Have to say that I'm not the biggest fan of documentary movies, if it's not about some singer or bands, but this one really got my attention I watched it all from beginning till end without pausing it.

So to say shorty this movie is about some of the world's most influential fashion images as conceived by the magazine's iconic fashion editors.

the iconic fashion editors -Grace Coddington,Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele,Polly Allen Mellen,,,
What I liked the best about this movie, probably, was that they started with the very beginning showing us how things were at the very beginning. It gives you the chanse to look at how things are actually. Not always everything is sunny and happy. Even as big company as Vogue have had issues.

My absolutely favorite part was when they talked about all the different covers they have had and how they changed them from models to celebrities.
This was one of the covers which was designed by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and it made a big scene with the fact that you can see models stomach. For now days it would be totally normal right?

Another amazing thing was when Phyllis Posnick talked about a photo shoot when the model had a bee on their lip I guess many people have thought that maybe that's fake or photo shoped, but no. All is real.

Even if I have never readed Vogue ( you can't buy it in my country :( ) I absolutely loved this movie and it really did inspire me and made me understand that that's what I want to do in my life. So if you are like me then absolutely watch this movie. You will not regret it.

“It’s like reading a book about a life that you will never occupy, but that’s the beauty of being transported.” – Sarah Jessica Parker, Actress

“They give us access to another world, they give us access to dreams. It’s our way of living in a different realm for a short period of time – and how beautiful is that?” – Nicole Kidman, Actress

“Fashion is such a fairytale and it is such a fantasy. And it’s about metamorphosis and sort of changing yourself and playing a part that you want people to see.” – Marc Jacobs, Fashion Designer

Your memory of fashion really is an editor’s vision of fashion through a captured image. It’s iconic fashion images that you remember. Your memory of fashion really is fashion photography rather than fashion itself.” – Andrew Bolton, Curator of The Costume Institute - See more at: http://www.capitalfm.com.my/lifestyle/30-quotes-from-in-vogue-the-editors-eye/#sthash.T9aeXF1I.dpuf
